I have now finished the eyes, all that's left with these now is to add some W+N gloss varnish into them, the eyes I always complete in acrylics.
I have decided against a straight black colour for the hair,i have mixed equal amounts of acrylic black and medium brown for the basecoat,i will finish the hair in different shades of oil colour before starting the main face painting.
The Zulu spear blade (Asengi) was a little too wide in the kit,so I've streamlined it a little as per the photos I used from the osprey campaign series 41.
