I continue with the first part of the shirt.

I try again, to paint “white” without white - and take the same colors as at the collar.

The only difference: For the very deep shadows - for example under the collar - I have given a little "Chocolate Brown" to the base color..:

    Now it looks like that..:

I like my "white" without white ...

    By the way:
In the last picture the difference between the colors of the shirt and the chest looks nearly as it is really...!

I have just painted the gold braid at the the first side of the caftan.!

I amm going again the way to underpaint it with these colors ...:

I have the bust briefly put aside for a short and took a picture. Up to now there is no gold in the game..:

After I refined the Tress course a bit, then in places that get really light, gently brushed gold. The rest remains "un-golden".

I have my photos today deliberately made under harsh lighting, so you can recognize the principle and see where the gold is located. In reality, it shines a lot less, but shimmers ...:

The three decorative buttons outside and the three buttons for closure inside I painted "full gold", with a wash of black and gold, which makes them looking a bit different because they are
    "metal".

And if you look closely, you can see that I promptly broke off when painting a piece of the shirt-cord and had to make it new ...

And with this - nice weekend!

Today I started to paint the caftan our Ataman with "tsarist green."

Because of the sometimes extremely hard and deep wrinkles I have extended the color palette used for this..:

And now it looks like that…:

The color combination of gold / tsarist-green I like very much!

As you also can see, I promptly broke off the small cord again, this time un-repairable.

From FIMO I had to make a new one...
