    Hi Piotr,

nice bust, great sculpting, I like the face and the textures a lot! Most likely the first Iraki Polish figure? Guess it be a commercional piece for your company?

    Thanks for sharing

    Pjotr,
Great work. But you must correct the mortar. He is tipped down.

    Hello,

    >Most likely the first Iraki Polish figure?
    Probably yes (I'm not sure...)

    >Guess it be a commercional piece for your company?
Not sure again - I don't think that will be market demand for such figure. Probably I will cast some pieces just for friends or I will issue limited series.

Thank you for your kind words! I agree there is a lot of texturing done on this figure. So far is the most complicated bust I have ever done (so many straps, pockets, etc.).

    EDIT:
Yes, A RPG is not finished yet - And glued temporary just for the picture - It needs a lot of detailing.

    And that was the inspiration:

    Piotr,

not a first sight, but it looks complicated, the nylon strap pattern, buckles etc. Maybe one comment, on the back of the head the hair is going too much down on his neck, but superb otherwise! A reference pics are interesting too!
    Thanks!

Fantastic work Piotr. I can see it is complicated with all the straps and pouches.

    Hi Piotr,

Well done, the bust looks very realistic even if it isn't finished yet. Did you take those pictures of Polish troops in Iraq yourself?

    Cheers

    Hello,

dinovision79 -> thanks for the hair tip. You are 100% right, I will re-do his hair.
    Guy, Roc -> thank you!
tonydawe -> No, I haven't been to iraq so far. I found this photos on some soldiers forum. Are you interested in such subject?

Still I have to finish the rpg and some letter tags (name-tag, poland-tag (http://www.specops.com.pl/naszywki/misje/POLAND-OKRAG.jpg) and the camelback-logo). Maybe I will add some veins to his hands.

Thank yoy very mych for your all comments!

    Regards, Piotr

    Hi Piotr,

Wow, such incredible detail. The details on the cloth badges are superb. Well done. I can't wait to see the finished piece.

Marvelous! I know how long it takes sculpting all that gear accurately and making it lay properly, bulge in the right places, sag in others - great job! The face has a lot of personality also!

    All the best,
    Dan

    Some new details

    A handwatch

And a new head - i decided that bust will have two head options.
1st - A happy face and the thumb up
2nd - An angry face and the thightly closed fist
