Inspecting the colours?

    I guess the smell of oil is irresistible not only to us. Diligently as is proverbial for her species she went from blob to blob to see whether any of that good-smelling stuff is edible. A bit later she was walking on the tip of the brush I was holding but I blew her off before I thought to snap a picture. DSC_0029.JPG

    Must admit thought this was about flags/ colours ...lol

    Had to look hard to see the ant ....nice to have a friend when painting

    Not sure wether it's female ...can't see a handbag !

    They're really tiny. Didn't cover even half of the bristles of my size 0.
    The only male ants are the flying ones that are granted life for a day just to fertilize the queens. Workers, scouts and soldiers are all female. She might be carrying a sub-pixel handbag, who knows?
