Today is the anniversary of the victory in the Second World War.

By this day I managed to finish two works, and the first one:

Soldier infantry battalions of the Red Army for the period from 1943 to 1945, 75mm. The rifle regiment became the main tactical formation of the Soviet army.

On April 30, the 150th and 171st rifle divisions, at the cost of considerable losses, opened the way to the Reichstag. Early in the morning of May 1, the assault flag of the 150th rifle division was raised over the Reichstag, but the battle for the Reichstag continued all day and only on the night of May 2, the Reichstag garrison capitulated.

I want to congratulate on the anniversary of the end of the war, and wish peace in the whole world!
