Hi - here's a pic of my latest. The subject is an 'Incroyable' - a dandy of the French Revolution. It's a period of history I find fascinating and I wanted to depict one of these characters: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incroyables_and_Merveilleuses

Was a fun one to paint - something a bit different.

Superb painting and excellent colour. Love the puce colour of the jacket as an aside, puce means "flea" in French and it's use as a colour is said to refer to the colour of bloodstains in your sheets due to flea bites, but don't quote me on that though.

When a 54mm figure is enlarged this much and still there are no visible blemishes or transitional lines then one thing's for certain: It's a damn good one!!!! Edward congrats.

Very nice , love the cut of coats and jackets re that period ,wish they would revive it .
