    Hi Guys,

Just posting this roughly sketched out figure Ive started, depicting a club mate's dad on National Service, somewhere in the Middle East. The figure Im working on is the one on the right of the pic in the fetching white trousers!

Loads to do, the head is borrowed from a Tamiya Adolf Galland, ATM and is just for scale!! Done in my usual Milliput over a wire armature, boots in resin, cast from my originals, when I did the figure of my old man on NS...

    Thanks for looking(y)

Some more progress pics. Almost there, head and detailing to do. Arms borrowed and heavily modified Miniart ones, from my Roman conversion and the left hand is from a Tamiya Rommel I used for conversion, too!! I shall be working on the head and neck today, then hopefully, final tidying and painting later in the week!!

    Thanks for looking(y)

Keith - no, not a hairdresser in my spare time - its quite a distinctive style on the pic, so it had to look right!! Apparently, it resembled a Teddy Boy pompadour on the top, but without the DA at the back...!!(y)

All done, apart from paint! Grey stuff in Mr Surfacer, applied with a brush, then flatted back to blend any irregularities - needs a final coat of primer, then a final once over, prior to painting.

    Thanks for looking(y)
