Imperial stormtrooper & dewback

    Hi everyone:

I want to share with you my last work. It's an ordered 28mm figure of an Imperial stormtrooper mounting his dewback (85mm long).

I used a metal armature for the trooper and a basic figure carved in polyexpan foam for the dewback.

    Hope you like them
    Guille

This is going to be interesting!

What material are you using for the dewback?

Also, how are you doing the texture of the skin?

    cheers

    Rob

    BTW - looking very good!

    Hello Rob!

I use two different types of epoxy putties. The clear one is some local equivalent to A+B. The grey one is more similar to DURO but it dries very fast (around 20 minutes)

To texturize the skin I use hi density rubber-foam, a tiny texturized aluminum film commonly used in some type of tablets (yeah! I’m not only a scratch builder but also a scratch collector :) ) and my own home-made sculpt tools.

    Soon much more.
    Regards
    Guille

    Hi

Looks excellent! Good to see some small scale stuff here!

BTW, checked out your site and there is some excellent and diverse stuff there; VERY impessed with the Oliphaunts! Games workshop release their plastic version soon, but yours is WAY better (bigger, for a start).

Another thing.....I've seen another dewback in small scale on the net.......if you're interested, I'll dif out the link.
