My latest project which has been going for quite a number of weeks now is the CGS 200mm full figure of an imperial guard eagle bearer.
I painted the bust version of this last year as part of my busterama,i still believe its one of the best pieces out there when it comes to emotion within a piece.
So far I have only completed about 50% of the figure, its my first full 200mm figure and needs careful planning and painting which is why its taking me so long, but although its very challenging its also been a very enjoyable project.
I've had to break the painting up in different stages,i've temporary attached the flag for ease of painting,i will remove it to finish the rear of the flag.
Some dirt and grime have been added to the flag, the red section still needs to be finished with the blue and white sections requiring some touch up work.

Great piece, inspirational as well, I am slowly being converted to the Napoleonics period by Carl's great sculpts and this brilliant demonstration of painting!
