Was curious about how widespread their use is amongst the members.

    My selection was "No".

I use a 10 well round palette, if for some reason I need the mix the next day or even two days, all I have to do is add some water to the well where the mix is, and put another round palette ontop of it. The paint will last atleast 2 days this way, and I live in a hot area of the US. It will last even longer if you do the same and put the whole deal in the fridge, I have had paint last over a week done this way in the fridge.

aCRYLICS - Prolonging the working time

    Hi to all Planeteers,
I do use a wet pallette for acrylics , but also find that if I use W & N Blending Medium , will give you a much longer working time , it looks glossy but drys right back and as it says also blends ....anyone else tried it .?

    Happy modelling ...Nap

You can make one at home if you don't want to buy one of the commercial types. Costs very little and seems to work just about as well as the manufactured ones.

This is the Watercolour Blending Medium, right?

I haven't tried it but I've been interested in trying it since I read the article by Jim Flagstad.

I use oils so I don't know what a wat palette is.
Obviously I didn't vote but you may always explain the principle

Here you go, thought a detailed description would help.

Normally oil painters have the opposite problem :)
