Sthephan, very nice attempt, but I would prefer him with helmet. The base is monumental ! Speeking about the clothes, I would advice you for more contrast.
Is it a commercial boust ?

    Stephan,

Very nice work. He is the spitting image of Liam Neeson - nice sculpting and painting.

    Cheers!

    Stephan,
nicely done. Is this a commercial piece? I've never seen this one. The base is interesting. Did you scratch build it or did the piece come with it? Thanks,

I like the base, interesting concept. There is a resemblance there to Liam. I may have missed something but is this a character from a movie?~Gary

Gary see "Kingdom of Heavan"- it's an excellent watch, and the 2 disc set is well worth getting....

Good work Stephan,Base is very interesting, something really different.
Photos have too much light,so I guess that your bust has more contrasts.
    best regards

Thanks for the updated pictures. If you're using a digital camera you may want to try not using a flash.~Gary

    Stephan,

    Nice painting on the shield.

The shields of the Norman and French 12th and 13th century crusaders were made of wood, leather (and sometimes other animal hide) and cloth at times, almost universally planked (backed) in wood. Here is more information about such shields: http://www.medieval-spell.com/Medieval-Shields-Designs.html.

Nice work. It's fun to see this progress.

Please can you give me an advice to arrange the bust on the base? I am not shure how to do it.
    Your opinions are welcome.

Here are the final pics, I enjoyed it to do that nice piece.
Thanks for all your comments an critics.

    könnt man ja manchmal verzweifeln
