I also couldn't join because I kept getting the red + yellow question wrong :)

    Hey Guys,

I'm a newbie from Canada who is getting back into military modelling since I was a kid. I gave up back the back then because my first "weathering technique" involved setting my AFV on fire to simulate battle damage. After almost having burn down the washroom, I figure I try something else before my parents ended my life :):).

I recently got back into via war games. I got into Warhammer 40K and Flames of War, which reignited my passionate for figure painting. My previous figures resemble monotone zombies with black eyes rather than soldiers so I'm looking forward to learning from the members in this forum.

Here are some examples of my recent work:

Looking forward to learning from the masters!

    Cheers,

That's an easy question, every one know it makes purple.
Glad you could join, we'll have you painting larger scale "normal" figures soon.
You're not alone with your pyromaniac tendencies, so you should feel at home,
    Carl.

    Welcome aboard Brian (y)

Did you get an error or anything from the colour question ?

It's encouraging to see folks branching out into other genres of figures! :)

Thanks for the warm response guys

And sorry for the all those spelling and grammatical errors. I was brain-dead at work when I wrote that.

English is my first language I swear! :)

    Welcome, Brian!

No need to apologize for anything, I paint with gloss enamels!

    Prost!
