    Hi guys,
I've started with this figure from Pegaso.
Started with the horse in a white / grey look.
This is coming to a close. I hope on some feedback and advise.
Painted it in oils. The golds are done with printers ink.

I have not got a lot of painted horses in my collection, well none actually, although I do have a camel.
Painting looks great, I would be very pleased if I had this result.

You are painting him all over agan Rob??
Excellent start on this dapple grey.
One comment. The spots on the leapard skin are on the small side. The spots are larger at the upperside of the skin, and sorry to say but I find them to regular. (I whas not brave enough to paint mine in the GA)

Nice Start, I'm working on the same kit. I've stripped and repainted the horse several times!

Oh my, beautifully done. And excellent photos
as well. That block of wood you selected for the
base is just beautiful. Very nice presentation!
    Congratulations,

Hi Marc, Tx! I think you're wright. I found it hard to paint this scheme. On a former occassion they thought the dots where to big.
    But I won't change it.

Hi guys, another update. More work to be done on mainly equipment and base
On the figure, the shoes, gloves and webbing. The fur of the pelisse still needs refining.
So still some hours work :)

    Thanks.
This keeps me motivated for the last pieces. For now the small details need the attention to make it all complete.
When done I will share the total result. ;)

Fabulous conversion and paint job. This would look magnificent in anyones collection.

Just one observation, (IMHO) the plume 'overpowers' the figure somewhat in height. Is it meant to be that tall and is it historically accurate in scale?

    Hi Gary,
I do think you're wright. But It was all in the box and on the boxart as well.
I thought about a small conversion on the plume but didn't had the guts :)
