    The original of this was a pressed aluminium plate bolted on the left door of every hungarian softskin in wwii.

    How did you go about making the jacket? I've been trying to make a german greatcoat to drape over the side of the Wespe I'm (slooooowly) making, but everytime I try & sit down to do it, I realise I don't have either the skills or patience to even try!! ;)
    it might be a lack of imagination, but the only way I can think of doing it is to do the whole tailoring thing in scale (paper pattern, cut out the bits, put it together) but that is just completely beyond me!!!
    Maybe that's an idea for a quck "how-to" ehh,ehh ;)

    I follow basically the same method. Oh i almost forgot: try to find as many photos as you can. I found today a new pic, and now i can start sculpting the commanders coat again... :angry:
