Well that should be a caucausian color. They came from central Azie.

My color mix: for the light tone's.
Base: cadmium red light + yellow ocre and white. It gives a deep red - orange.
    Light values: ( mixx 1) 1 Naples Yellow + 9 white.
    Mid tone: 5 white + 3 x mix 1 + 2 tips cadmium red light + 1 tip base color
schade: for a cool shadow: 2 base + 1 burnt umber
    warm shade 4 tips mix 1 + 2 basecolor + 1 venetian red + 1 burnt umber.

Hope you can do with this.

Thanks Marc. Caucasian? A bit on the dark side? Your formula looks complicated. I'll give it a try.

When mixing skin tone I just put some white, yellow ochre, cadmium red/Venetian red, dark umber and Van Dyke brown out and mix it into a base colour.

To that mix I add more white for the highlights and more brown for the shadows. Basically that's it. And when dry I line with dark umber/Van Dyke brown.
