    1) Start a new thread or post a reply. Enter some text:

    pf_1.png

    2) Click the 'Upload a File' button to get the uploader selection box to show:

    pf_2.png

    3) Click the 'Choose File' box and use the standard file browser to select an image from your computer.
Once the file is selected, the uploader dialog box starts the upload process and disappears once it is done.

    4) If you want the image to appear in the post, you can choose to insert either a Thumbnail or the Full Image:

    pf_3.png

If you don't see the 'Thumbnail' or 'Full Image' it usually means that your image is too big to be processed. Please resize, make it smaller and try again.

    5) Repeat the process if you want to insert multiple images into your post.

There are two ways an image can be rotated:

    1) by moving the actual pixels in the image
    2) by adding a small piece of data to the file noting which orientation the image should be in (EXIF data)

PlanetFigure doesn't currently support #2. The forum software doesn't read the EXIF tag and shows the image as it is.

If the image is properly rotated on the member PC using method #2 it will still show sideways on PF.
In order for this to work an image needs to be rotated on a PC using a software that moves pixels in the image (method #1) and then uploaded.
