This how the figs for this project are looking now. I've still got some way to go but most of the colours are blocked in. Also a photo of the assistant. :)

Thanks for the comments everyone. Hopefully when they are incorporated into the groundwork I have planned this will be a nice little vignette.

The groundwork is pretty rough and still in the very early stages of construction but this gives an idea what I am trying to achieve.

Wow, that's some fast progress, Roger! I like the way you're fitting everything into your base, it's all shaping up nicely.

    Prost!

Thanks Brad. None of the figs. are attached to the base yet and there's still lots to do but it's shaping up well I think.

Hi, Roger! I was reading your thread on this scene over at HZ and thought of a followup question, from your observation about highlighting Prussian blue. Can you tell a little more about your experience with it? How did you eventually create your highlights and shadows?

    Prost!

To answer your question Brad, with great difficulty :(

I used a little Naples Yellow + White.

It's funny you should ask that question as I went out this afternoon and bought a tube of Cerulean Blue to try that next time. :)

My main concern was getting the seated figure to blend in with the groundwork but I think I've pulled it off.
Next step is to add the other two figs and crack on with the groundwork.

    Roger.
