Hello Laurent, A great looking sculpt, the details are excellent. Really like the goggles, and the expression on the face. Can you let us know who will be releasing it??? Regards, SG:)(y)(y)

Really nice sculpting but as ZC says another German ..but I guess its what sells ...really like the details and the goggles ...be good to see the box art on this one

Thanks for sharing

A beautifully executed sculpt, but as others have stated, there is no lack of such busts. Do they sell because they are available, or are they produced because they sell? A chicken and egg situation. The Roman looks impressive. With a little conversion, the HJ Officer could be turned into a LRDG or SAS figure, or even a Royal Navy submariner (would need a roll neck jumper and cap and tunic modifications).

There are plenty of other WW II subjects available from the Allied side, apart from the Yanks, there were Brits, Canadians, Kiwis, Aussies, Free French, Poles, Norwegians, &c., &c. For the first four years of the war, it was Bomber Command and after 1941, the USAAF which took the fight to the enemy, and the Royal Navy and Royal Canadian Navy which did so at sea.

Keep on sculpting,

Mike

I must thank Laurent for this superb bust,,,it is stunning !!!!

The moulds are done and Mark should receive his kit soon to start painting.

I will post more details in due course. To all those that don't like German WW2 ,,,,sorry more are planned for those that do .

Cheers

Mike as you are so assured of the success of all these pieces why don't you put your money where your mouth is and commission these superb pieces from all the nations of WW2 and show some conviction in what you want,,,,,surely you will be rich beyond belief !!!!! WW2 German is not fashionable nor fantastic, but it is steady and liked by a very informed modeller,,,no chicken ,,,no egg ,,, just something they like, just like me and mark and Laurent and a lot of others,,,,its our hobby too.
