Nice job Ian - have not seen this sculpt before. He looks like he's had a bit too much of the old leberwurst - and is packing a big 'lunchbox'!!

Unless the photos are washing out the color, the figure looks like it could make do with a little more contrast.~Gary

Thanks for the comments. Gary , i see what you mean about the contrast. Put it down to my inability to take photographs . I have very poor lighting facilities and its pot luck really how they turn out

I took the liberty of using a quick auto contrast in Photoshop. Your layout and finishing of the 1929 Italian camo is particularly impressive, as is the pose of the figure.

that is nicely painted and looks to be a good sculpt also. Any comments on the figure itself quality wise.?

Thanks for Photoshop tweaks Martin . I do not mind at all.

As for the figure it was very nicely cast with very little cleaning up to do. The only thing to slow me up was mating the top and bottom halves. I need to do a small amount of filling here but noting major. No air holes to speak of . I had great fun with the sling !! One is not provided and what you see here is my third effort i finally plumped for insulating tape !.

I would certainly recommend this piece , and i have to say i really enjoyed the Italian pattern which i was dreading from the beginning.

Maurice lists his figures on ebay if you are interested or you can contact him directly.

I am sure he won't mind me advertising for him .
