    Is it me or is the pictures a bit blurry? Why I ask, is that I wear reading glasses, but have to use different glasses for the computer,and I've just spent a couple of hours painting.

    I wonder if you could be brave enough to 'lose' the plaid altogether on thus one to make him different to all the others?

    I'd love to lose the plaid as i'm not looking forward to painting the tartan.Unfortunately the plaid is part of the bust and would require major surgery,which is not one of my fortes

    love your piece - have also done one and believe it or not I love doing tartans - come from painting wargaming units for other - do all the Scottish units in the peninsular for 2 people one lot in 18mm one in 28mm -so doing these larger ones is fun (as I duck for cover)
