Hello to all - I am new on this forum...

    I am a Belgian figure painter and modeller and new on this forum. I started making Airfix kits in the sixties, painting hundreds of Airfix 1/76 figures, and their 54mm figs...
    Via Airfix Magazine and Military Modelling (I got a subscription from my dad from issue 1!) I learned a lot, and was custommer at La Heaumerie du Casque d'Or in Brussels and TOMKER in Antwerp...
    I joined Belgian Army in 1971 and retired in 2007. I organised the Jagers te Paard figures for Chas Stadden when I was serving in those Regiments. I am still a guide in Brussels Army Museum.
    I did lots of armour models for teaching reccognition, but whenever fed up with kakhi I switch to colourful figurines.
    Humbrol user since the beginning I took on Winsor & Newton oils, and am now allso on acrylic paints... times change and we try to keep abreast of modern techniques...
    I hope to improve my skills via contacts on this forum.

    Do share anything from the Belgium Army Museum and of course your models

    Do ask any questions someone will know

    Lots of different sections to look at including traditional and 3 D sculpting , competitions , WIP's , References , Painting techniques and so much more

    There's also Painting techniques where you will find much about Acrylics

    ALL figures are welcome and of course Vignettes & Diorama ( we run friendly competitions if you wish as well , one called FOTM where there are 3 classes to choose in which to enter )
