Hi everyone, my name is Ben but my site name is DRUMS01. While I have been a modeler since the late 60's, I have just recently started to dabble into the figure realm. Most of my previous modeling history revolved around scale cars, armor, and aircraft. Once I started to integrate figures into my builds I began to really like working with them. Now I am to the point where I frequently post figures in other modeling forums by themselves.

Most of my figures are in the 120mm - 75mm range, but I have done some as small as 1/144. Looking at many of the works in this forum lets me know just how far I still need to grow. It also brings me back to reality that figures can be a whole focal point and model unto itself. Kudo's to those of you who found this out earlier than me. I hope to learn a lot here and also be a sharing participant.

I suspect many of us here on Planet Figure started out modelling tanks, aircraft, cars and other subjects and graduated to figures over time. I know I spent the first 20 years of my modelling career building AFV's and dioramas only to be seduced to the dark side by the power of large scale figures and more recently, busts. You're among friends here.
