Lovely job, Roger! I like the subtle weathering at the bottom of his white tunic and how you've brought out that fur cloak (y)

Very nice painting, looks a treat with the groundwork.

Thank you very much Nick. The texture of the goat or sheepskin, not sure which it is but suspect it could be either, made it easy to paint.

You do turn them out at an astonishing rate considering their incredibly high standard of painting.I can only applaude!

I consider myself fortunate that I have a fair amount of time to paint when I am at home on leave. It also helps to pretend I'm a bit deaf when my wife thinks of other jobs for me to do. :D

Is it true you now live on a diet of Salad, Haloumi cheese and Kleftiko????

Seriously very impressive work Roger - you're a man of many talents but your interest in Greek history suggest you need to change your name to something like "Roger the Greek" - don't counter with a suggestion of Admonis or Oedipus!!

    Cheers

I've got a bottle of Tsikoudia here that can double up as paint stripper should the need arise. :D

    Thanks very much Gells.
The whites were done with a basecoat of Vallejo Model Colour Pale Sand 007 and then oils on top, Titanium White, Paynes Grey and a bit of this and that as I was going along in an unscientific way. :D
