I’m struggling to get this effect.

I’ve started to rough out this (below) which measures approx 2cm. Cracks need to be narrowed and edges of the blade enhanced. As I said very early stage.



The Question

Has anybody else tried painting a blade this way and if so can you post photographs.

I asked this on a Facebook group and got answers varying from use a sponge to dry brushing and pictures of bust with washes.
