I have completed the Celt. I went for a bloody look. Probably I have overdone it in some areas, but nevertheless I am happy how it turned out.
Please take a look and all critique is more than welcome.

Superb, Piotr. Good work on the fleshtones, drawings, blood and groundwork. Your style is very clean, I love it.
This figure is well painted, that I do not miss the checkered pattern in his pants.

Nothing wrong with a bit of blood and guts. Hard to santize the reality of ancient combat. Great painting.

I agree that's not over done at all if anything it's under done, blood and sweat combined make even the smallest cut look like a butchers shop floor

This fight wasn't stopped and I'd say there is at the very outside maybe 1/2 a pint of blood yet it looks life threatening. We live in a rather sanitised world by and large and tend to lose track of just how brutish and ugly life could be back then. You've done a first class job on the paint work you should be proud!

I think it looks great. I agree with Helm... a tiny cut on the head will bleed gouts, imagine what would come of having one's head lopped off! Fighting with cold steel is a very messy business for sure.

Overall, you've done a fine job on this figure... Congrats!!!

I think this turned out very well Peter. The blood looks great IMO. Although that amount of blood will put some people off I don't think it's overdone - he could easily have more blood on him! I'd go a little darker on the lower edges of the trousers in particular if you intend to show the ground is damp but overall I think the weathering works nicely.

From last week I've sent a PM with more feedback, hope it helps.
