    Harry Luck!
The second of the Seven :)

Very good cast, grey resin again, hard, dry, one mold line on the back, a few leftover sprue cubes, but we already know that.
Beautiful details, a guy similar to the original.

But the brim of the hat will probably have to be sculpted anew, as before. Harry has a gambler/telescope style hat, not a "peasant" or "scarecrow" ;)

And I tell it once again: customer service in MMM is top notch!

    Okay, time to start.
Hat.I decided not to take the risk of heating the brim of the hat and hot molding as I might not pull myself together. It was faster and cheaper to cast the crown itself.I used a fast, red catalyst - you really need to hurry, because it freezes immediately.Especially when we don't use a vacuum.

Harry's hat - at rest - is best seen in the scene of the death of its owner:

    Thanks Nap!
    I think there's difference ;) ?

Hat put on for a photo, on plasticine. Cardboard brim doesn't have a chamfer on the inside, so I need to trim the top of the skull ;P

Very valuable advice, Nap. Here you are, mephiston red. And light skin tone with dwarf skin on the face.

I turn my back for five minutes and here's Brad Dexter nearly finished! Must've been dozing as I've just caught up with this one. It is looking very good. I like the re-work on the hat which looks more like the original I think.

    Hi Marcin

Think the shirt looks better now

Flesh is certainly coming along well on this and adding the steel blue works well

Interesting you've not done the eyes yet

    Thanks for sharing

    Hi, guys!

Because of technical issues and for my comfort. In busts representing specific people, I think it is better for me to reflect the likeness. Besides, after painting the eyes, I would have to be very careful not to accidentally spoil something during further work.

Now, according to Wiki, Brad Dexter had bright, beautiful blue eyes. I looked through resources of film portals and found probably the most accurate photo.
    418317.1bd.jpg

And then, in order not to distract myself from the work, I put it on the wallpaper and I can peek while painting.
