You have the talent to sculpt great characters.
This is also gonna be a stunning bust.

I 'm not sure Rene... The face as you posted it at first really looked like Landa. Although it is a very realistic-looking face of a man as shown now, I feel it is drifting away from Landa a bit.
Don't take this the wrong way; you're showing admirable sculpting work here!

    None taken Adrian :)

I was missing some volumes that give this specific depht in his face.
Explicitly your eye can go to to certain lines, but that's tricky.
I am looking for implicity, how are the lines evocated..?
It's a game of adding, rotating, looking for good volumes.
carateristics are fatal, need to watch in a sober way.

Personally I feel this head a better base than the sketches before,

I wasn't happy with the magnitude this head was getting..it got bigger and bigger when I applied pieces again and again.

so.....I decided to start over again.

Previous sketches were not completely useless. I found out I oftenly get started by sketching and look for rudimentary shapes.
I must admit last efforts were done after a nightshift where I am ought to sleep but wanted to go on :)

    Sure this affected my observations.

Did some sketching again and went for the orthodox way, which I like to share with you.
Still not finished but I like the outcome better than the previous one.
This one I try to maintain same scale as I did Coburn.

    enjoy.

I think all the facial features are happening in a certain area. Think it's good to pinpoint such an area. One thing you are sure of.
