    Hi all

This is my latest W.I.P. I am working on the face at the moment and will post some extra pics later in the week. I have used the technique of polishing and then staining as described by D.Cartacci

This is the 54mm Art Girona Figure.

John the gold of the armor looks legit! I would say it maybe needs some shadows towards the bottom and down the spine, but cool effect for sure!

    Hi John,

The metallics on the armour look awesome. I agree with Jay about shadowing down the spine, but otherwise its looking great. Have you shadowed with Raw Umber??

    Thanks for the comments lads,

The polishing technique is simple enough, polish metal with wire brush then stain it using shades of clear tinted acrylic paints yellow and orange.

The shading is done using orange acrylic tints. Then I used printers inks for the silvering.

    I hope this helps

Woah, that very shiny. I like the armour so far. As i can say aswell, it needs a little bit of shading also because light wouldn't hit it so hard in that particular spot.
