    Agreed.
    I wasn't too sure about this figure when I first saw it, but your de-charicaturizing amendments have turned it into a very nice model.

    Hi Nap,
    I generally use a mix between Vallejo german grey and citadel charadon granite plus tamiya flat base.
    I guess i've used too much of the charadon granite and too much of the tamiya base that it looked very chalky and too wetheared.
    This time i've use mostly german grey, dab of citadel charadon granite and a tiny bit of flat base.
    For the edges of the hat and wear and tear i add citadel taurpest ochre to the base color.
    For shadows i use the same base color, very diluted , and add more german grey and flat black for darkest areas.

    We sailed from Aberdeen on Saturday Daniel. 28 days at sea and then home before flying to Greece 16th August.

    Can I ask - beyond adding the moustache and hair have you changed to kit head at all? Yours looks like it has much more natural features than the one shown on the box art.
