I am doing the finishing touches to Gwynevere to finish her up. The throne has just been given a black acrylic wash over a "Hippo Gray" acrylic paint. I will drybrush the throne with various grays and finalize with white.

Gwynevere herself is near completion and she has to have her arms and gloves finished and her eyes put in. Don't know whay, but I always leave the eyes to almost last. The blanket on the throne will be drybrushed with several shades of brown. Any comments, sugestions will be greatly welcomed. There is another pic in my gallery of Gwynevere that will be replaced with the finished figure.

    Hey Guy!

She's looking beautifu! Love the reds and greens, you've got a good handle on those two colors. Only think I would comment on is the lady's dark skin, females are usually lighter in the skin, but I guess she could have been tanning

    Thanks Anders,
With all the Native American and Mongols I paint, I have a problem backing off sometimes with the skin tones. When I did the Celtic Warrior I had to really bring him back in skin tones. I decided since the subject here is from mythology, I would bring her skin tones to this point and leave it there.

Here is the first drybrushing of the throne using an enamel floquil color "Sea Gray"

Thanks for your comments Stephen. I probably spent more time with the pics in photoshop than I did painting the figure. I'll get it right someday. Promise the best I can!

Here is the second drybrushing of the stone and the first of the fur seat. About 1 more on the stone and several drybrushing of the fur.
