A ship's crew land on a mysterious island to replenish their water supply. But they've got some unexpected surprises in store.

All figures are 75mm and mainly from Alexandros, Pegaso, El Veijo Dragon, McFarlane and Masterclass, all painted with acrylics.
Groundwork is celluclay with static grass, some rocks & sand and various bushes added.

It certainly has a "technicolour" effect and the groundwork looks really great. That cyclops must have got the fright of his life. Coming ashore and being confronted with a bunch of armed hooligans and a freaking centaur! Oh, wait... :playful:

    Cheers for that.
The square edging on Greek capes takes ages, especially when using acrylics. Same goes for tartans actually.
Getting sharp corners is a seemingly never-ending process of slightly overpainting them and then squaring them off with the adjacent colors; and I never get it quite right.
Worth the time spent trying to do it through.

Almost got two of the Ancient Greek revamped diorama bases finished today; so they'll be up next I guess.

I don't know how I missed this, but I saw a reference to it and came over to look. It's outstanding, Harry! I like this one best of all the ones you've posted so far! The allusion to Technicolor is spot-on.

    Prost!

    Glad you like it Brad.
To be fair, apart from my Ninja Attack extravaganza, this is the only example of my recently posted stuff that includes a decent backdrop -- which always helps to "sell" a scene.
I reckoned the passing reference to "Orpheus the Cabin Boy" would raise a grin...
