    Hello all,

here are the first steps in painting the figure.

After priming I painted it with the follwoing colours:

    The cloak:
1: Base Humbrol Flat Black 33 very thin
2: Then a very thin layer Cold Grey with oils
3: First and second Highlights: Humbrols Mixture: Flat Black 33 + Natural Wood 110 (helps to get a dity looking) + Flat Flesh 31 (for the highlight)
    4: Shadow: Flat Black 33 + a little Natural Wood 110 + and a dip Flat Flesh 31

    The scull:
1: Base Humbrols Light Sand 212, White 34 and a dip Natural Wood 110,
    2: Highlights Humbrols Light Sand 212 + White 34
    3: Shadow: Light Sand 212 + a dip Natural Wood 110 + a dip Blat Black 33

It`s just in progress, but I think you can see wich way it will be going...

    Best wishes,
    Markus

    Hi Markus

Very nice, and certainly an unusual subject. Your work on the folds of the cloak is very good indeed.

What sort of scale is he?
