    Hello friends,

This is my version of the classic Latorre figure Scots Guard Crimea 1854 by Elite miniatures. These days is a very rare figure to see (unless FER miniatures re-releases it in the future! ;)).
Last week Stelios Demiras uploaded also his version! In his thread it was pointed out that the Scots guards had no plume on their bearskin so let's change his name to Grenadiers guard!!(y)
This figure has left me a sweetsour taste. On one hand the sculpture and the painting has been a real joy. It is very tiny but the pose is so dramatic and all the folds are beautifuly sculped.
But on the other hand the final attachmet of the arm and hands/sword has been a nightmare! It was very difficult to align everything and during the process my clumsy fingers scratched the paint in several spots. In addition the piece for the tail of the jacket fell off! Spots of cyano... argggg!!! I was about to throw it through the window!!! Well, at the end I breathed deeply and tried to mend the mess!!!

Painted completely with acrylics. Hope you like my version!
