Hello guys. I finished the boxart painting of the Greek Eyzon sculpted by Babis Stathis - aka "Aiantas" for Athens Miniatures.

All painted in acrylics. Base is a simple setup as it had to be for the boxart showing only the companys base elements and nothing additional

I hope you like it .

    Hi Costas,

    wow nice paint job.
I like the green veste. Good zenithal on it. I also like the white legs, with a good ending at the bottom looks like dirty dust (well done).
But for me it seems that the face is strange. But that's the sculpt not your paint job.

    Costas,
nice work! He turned out nicely. I'm with Jean Paul on this one though. I think maybe the sculpt on the face is a bit "gaunt". His cheeks look a bit drawn and the brow has an overly stern look. Don't get me wrong, it turned out very nicely in the end. The base looks great as well!

    Hi Coastas,

I just want to say this :

I think good critics as "well done" "good paint" .... is good for us to feel confiant and continu with our hobby.
But I also like real critics (specialy on my figures). It may hurt some, but we need this kind of critics to "improve" in our hobby.
That why I dont hesitate to critic if I see something that "dont look good to my eyes". Yes I wrote "my eyes" because what could look good to me is maybe not to somebody else.

Anyway, I think that if we post our work, it's the fact that we accept critics (good or bad).
So lets improve all together ;)

Jean Paul, this is my way also of expecting critics. Tobe really constructive and helpfull. Myaim is toimprove mypainting with everyfigure not to receive a bunch of Bravo.s. Thats the reason also i study everyday a lot of hours works of better painters than me . To improve .

    Thanks
