I have finally got around to posting more images of these two busts from YS miniatures. Having refined the flesh tones a bit more, I have now done the braided vests and their buttons as well as some other areas such as the head wear etc. I will be getting onto the priests jacket next and the under shirt for Drakos.
Thanks for looking
Ben

The braid must have driven you mad.:nailbiting:
Very well done,
Carl.(y)
Hi Carl, the braid was a lot easier than I expected once I got my oils to a colour that I liked. Getting a gold look without using straight gold is a bit of a challenge. A bit of patience is all thats needed as I'm sure you already know. Thats for looking

Hi Ben,

I love this YS Busts. They are as unsual as they are beautifull!! I think that you are doing a great job on these. The flesh tones looks very natural for and correct for greek people.
The braid is also very good.
Waiting to see more.

Regards
Pedro

G'day Pedro, Ken, Nick and Xenofon
Thanks for looking guys and the great comments, I have since added a few highlihghts to the flesh to make it pop more and have started the rest of the clothing, the dreaded whites for Drakos and I'm using Black for the Priests coat. Will have pics soon I hope. It also looks like I have to add the pupils for Drakos' eyes as well as you cant see them in the pics.

Hi Ben,

A few more highlights on the flesh sound like a good move mate. Following your progress with interest. Hope to see these busts at our next club meeting.

Good work Ben.
Looking forward to the next posting
Marc
Thanks for looking Tony and Mark, more pics soon. Tony, I have already added some extra highlights and they look better already. Ta
