After few months pause, i started this Andreas 54mm piece.
I have been modelling 1/35 afvs and restoring my 1962 Volvo Amazon also this summer.
I have been thinking using enamels to paint this, plenty of Humbrol tins in store (most of them nearly 30 years old!) , inspired by Bill Horans Military Modelling Masterclass book, bought 20 years ago.
I will also make a simple base using balsa foam.

I too have this figure.Inspiring pose and nice subject but unfortunately it belongs to the later face of Andrea's productions where the sculpting isn't what it used to be.On this figure specifically the chainmail is so "shallow" that it will probably disappear under the first coat of paint.I'd love to see what you will do with it and listen to your experience on this piece. It will sure help me a lot.

You are right about the chainmail, it's very shallow, especially on left hand, pose is great and i like the subject very much too.
