Very colorful figure Pete. You really did a nice job on this one. What scale is the figure?

You like XVII cent. too, give me five!!!
Wonderfull subject and well done too!!!!!
Well done. Great use of colours.
Thankyou everyone for the nice comments. This 75mm figure is from United Empire Miniatures. It is sculpted by Alan Ball.
Gary- I painted in acrylics his boots, pants, breast plate, face and hair. His coat and sashes were undercoated in acrylics and then covered in oil. His buttons and chain are printer's ink.
Xenofon- It is a 75mm figure
Stefano-You get five! Yes, I enjoy this period of History. Johann Sporck, (1595-1679) who originally was a farmer, became a soldier and was then promoted to the rank of General due to his military prowess during the Thirty Years War.
Wish there were still job opportunities like that!!!!
Good job little buddy.
Very nice work on this piece! I love the colors. The orange of the coat compliments the blues very well. Nice job!
Excellent work Pete. I also like the blues and the flesh tones as well.
