    We've got :

    Ashley, cat
    Domino, cat
    Rowdy, cat
    Brutus, dog

It makes for an interesting day, they all get along fairly well, except for the occasional tromp across by workbench

Here's Rowdy, he loves chillin' on the top step like that, and I had to grab a shot glass for him to complete the scene! (I took the pic with the Vignette app for Android takes old style photos)

    Why,
There is no reason for that. As we have a autistic son, who is also astmatic and therefore alergic for cats, dogs, trees, flowers etc the canaries are great. Singing alot and making alot of young canaries.
It is alot of work to. And i must admit, they belong more to the wife. I have my racingbicycles and my figures.....
    Life is good for me
(in my other marriage i had a cocker spaniel and two cats, she was one of them:D:D:D)

Here are my pets. I had a really good friend, Clyde. He was just a month away from 25 years old when he died this past May. My wife and kids knew that I really loved that little bird and we decided to get a new little girl and man is she spoiled! She is a lap bird! All she wants to do is sit on my shoulder or my wifes and groom and have her head scratched for hours at a time! My son said she looks like Popcorn so that is her name.

    Clyde

Popcorn at her best...did I say she loves to groom? Must be because she is a little girl!

    My Dog,
    a Pomeranian, called Tenzing.

Story behind his name; the first night I got hm, he was exploring everything, and trying to go vertical.

So after some discussion, we tried to name him after some famous climbers, and the only two we could think of were Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.

Hillary didn't seem right for a boy, Edmund he paid no attention to, I didn't like the idea of standing in the middle of a park saying "Norgay, come here"

    So he was named Tenzing.

For many years hr had both eyes, but about a year ago now, he got an infected cornea, and I opted for eye removal.

(he's forgiven me for that, as will most dogs forgive anything. Still feel the occasional bit of guilt, though.....)

Still, he's a happy little individual, gave me a reason to go home from work some nights, and another reason to get out of the house.

And he works great as a Chick Magnet!

Am impressed by the amount of pets people have....

No need to guess where Bilbo the Golden Retriever got his name.

The story behind the pats name is almost as interesting as the pet!

    Hi Guys,

My best friend is a Dog we rescued last year-he is a Collie Cross/Lurcher with all the instincts of a collie and the laziness of the Greyhound type breed-perfect for a couple of oldies........his name....Guinness of course.
Best behaved dog we have ever owned and never leaves my side.

    True Pinsel,
we always seem to outlive our best pets....

and the things we talk about when they are gone, is the the things they did when they drive us nuts when they were alive!
