That first picture...I think that's it !
When You smooth it out, it will look even better !
great progress so far
altering on a baked head is hard. Litterally.
The macro lens also deforms a bit, ears will have some extra layers.
Looks like 'faces of Death part XI..
but still I like to prepare heads with alufoil.
created a line around the cap, this will be filled with copperwire, this kind of ornament.
just some sketching with the features, they will be worked out.
( think of real rope) and thinking of shortening the suncap.
Rene, this is great, what else to say
You baked and sanded the suncap ?
Looking really good!
when polymer has been baked you can make things extremely shiny.
First thing for me was to seal this solarcap and modify it later on ( used a nailcutter).
not that it really matters...due to the foil my cap has also a nice inside
Nice work on the piping
The Face turned out excellent, congrats!
But I think you should check the cap: the black part above the visor (the stiff part of the cap) should be a slice of a cylinder; your current version tapers, like a segment of a cone.
You spent so much admirable effort into studying the face, with an excellent result; with just a little more of that on the cap I'm sure you'll nail that one too!
Thanks a lot Adrian....
Let's say somewhat earlier today I had a helpfull Spanish hand...
All is in shape now and I will post soon.
thanks a lot for your concern.
some refining of the ears and preparing the cast:
