    Thanks George!

Here are a couple more shots showing some minor progress. Been working mainly on the golden dragons. Hopefully the work is evident!

Wow, big improvement on the dragons!
It's going to be a stunning piece.
Would you mind to share your white mixture behind the dragon?

    cheers,

Thanks for your kind comments Marcel, George, Marc, and Steve!

Marcel - The white is my standard mix (in oils) of white, black, and Old Holland ochre (from the company Old Holland).

Great start Jason, nice shading of the haraldy on the horse. I love the idea of the shadow on the neck. Will stay tuned on this, very interesting work my friend.
    best regards

    Thanks Tony and Robert!
Robert - the reins will actually lay against the horses neck, so the painted shadow won't really be visible.

Long time lurker, second time poster.

I've always admired this model and I wanted to have a go at it. My question is, how deep is the surface detail for the heraldry? I wanted to do the kit but not as a Welsh prince, with different Heraldry.

You are doing a superb job of this kit, I have been following it and you are doing it justice.

Thanks Andy! I've been making some progress and will post some more pics soon. Ref. the heraldry, it is all raised detail and is well defined. You could grind it off, but it would be a bit of a challenge.

Magnificent paintjob, Jason! I will follow this one closely,
