WIP Gladiator

  1. offo A Fixture

    Hi everybody I sculpt this bust Gladiator. All from zero. I make this from material- Air -drying ceramic modelling clay . name KERA plast.
    And I paint this. It is 1/7
    It is all WIP .

    Sorry I missed this ..great subject and a truely well sculpted helmet , like the way it is done ...does it fit over the head ? ......well done

    .......painting also very good as well ......was the style inspired by any other bust perhaps .

    I am really happy of your reactions.
    To question if it fit over his head- my plan is leave it next to the bust but it is not problem to remake it.

    I agree with Kevin. The helmet is I think the best sculpted gladiatorial helmet I have ever seen sculpted. The figure itself is also superb. Well done Sir. (y)(y)

    Hi There ,

    Thanks for more pictures of the helmet really is a tremendous piece of work , it looks great and does infact make a great stand alone piece ...perhaps a few more helmets might be a good idea ..make a great display .

    Perhaps an ida might be anoption of the helmet being worn with the front being open (were these hinged perhaps) to display the face (although it would show through anyway if the helmet was being worn)

    This should be commercial or at least try and get some casts done ...I for one will have a copy as I am sure many others will on PF .
