I recently finished Pegaso's 75mm Germanic Warrior and mounted him on a Ken Thomas base.

I love this subject matter so much, I wish I did something like it first.
Beautiful job on the rendering, great subdued tones effort...the shield is so good, It's too bad it can't be swung around the the front of the figure.
Nice overall feeling with that groundwork.
