    Young Miniature's release for last month (October 2011 ) features an Officer of the Waffen SS late in the war, 1944. With a new face unlike many of the previous busts this kit is comprised of 7 resin parts.

    Arriving in Young's traditional Black box with a clear plastic sleeve around the box to keep it closed this kit has all its parts sandwiched between layers of foam to protect the parts during shipping.

    Above you see various views of the separate cast head showing the detail all around.

    Above you see all four sides of the separate cast hat. Once the casting blocks are removed the hat sits tightly on top of the head as you will see later in the review with the dry-fitting pictures.

    In the above photographs you see each side of the binnoculars and the flare gun. The bottom photograph shows the bust plinth which fits up into a pre-drilled hole in the torso section.

    Above you see the casting block removed from the top of the head and the head dry-fitted down into the neck cavity for a perfect fit.

    Conclusion:
    Another remarkable kit for the hands of Young B. Song and his company. Removal of casting blocks required. Highly recommended.
