Nice texture work!

This is superb painting. It's nice to see your thought process as well.

Thanks to all for the kind words on my project. One of the final additions was to make the mess tin scratched up, since they lost their paint easily in use. He's now complete with all accessories on and mounted on his perch. I'm still trying some new painting techniques and hopefully will have something a bit better for my next project. But I'll have to see what's available out there that suits my fancy. I'll post further pics in the "completed" section soon.

Thanks for that, Kevin. I've not done this previously on a bust - but it worthwhile here to see the response from our community of hobbyists and I do like to ask/answer questions as I progress through a project.
