Simply superb Igor. Would certainly buy this if it were commercial, which is a real compliment as this is not my usual choice of subject.

    Excuse me, Igor.
Do you have evidence that in Stalingrad were SS helmet covers ?

Helmet cover's were produced for both the German Heer (Army) and the Waffen SS (see below), so this is quite accurate

    Army:

    Waffen ss:

The difference was in the camouflage patterns used

No. The difference was primarily in the cut of the cover . And it is perfectly clear from the examples given you.;)

Maybe so but aren't we getting to IPMS-like critiques when we start discussing the cut of cover? How often do the seams of other aspects of uniform get micrroscoped? Its a very nice bust and very evocative of Stalingrad.

Sorry, and I thought it was a historical miniatures. "Its a very nice bust" - Yes, of course
"and very evocative of Stalingrad..." - and very evocative of Hollywood. :)
I am a potential buyer, then why should I remodel this cover? You do not agree with me?
