Hello All,
This is a start on a 1/12 German Officer bust.About an hour turning the brass bits for the binoculars.
The bust will be based on this portrait as I found the tarn interesting.

If you want to keep yourself exact to the model photo, the rotation of the head could be a little bit stronger, I think...

Hello All,
The hands have been formed.This pose is needed to avoid any dead space,that is the head ,binoculars and hands with cigarette pack ,keep a certain level of interest as the eye follows the lines,upwards or downwards.(well,thats my theory anyway).
I enjoy sculpting hands as they say a lot even with a half bust let alone a full figure.

good work Andy, in my opinion the arms look kinda small respect to the head, also the jaw/chin I would move a bit backwards, not so prominet, looking forward your progres mate!

Thanks for the comments guys.I have lengthened the arms by a couple of mil each and has improved the look alot.

Hello All,
The sleeves for the tunic have been added.After rolling out the folds with a knitting needle a light brush of water over the work to smooth off the surfaces while the magicsculp is still soft.

Hello All,
Es geht noch weiter.The upper torso has been worked in with the collar and pockets.The cap is done bar the badges.A couple of badges to yet add to the left breast pocket and eagle above the right pocket.
