Hey Guys,
i wanted to show the figure I´m currently working on.
It´s a 1/32 Figure from Elisena.

The figure is very nice detailled and casted very good in white metal.

It´s painted with Tamiya acrylics and oils.

Here are some pics:

The small gap on the right shoulder is now filled ;).

I started painting with the Kar98:

This is it for now.
I´m not very much satisfied with the figure (thinking of stripping the paint), so ANY tipp or advice is more than welcome :) .

Greetings from germany (so, please excuse my bad english  )
Markus

You have been busy Markus........and he is looking good. Personally, I never strip a figure, just learn from example and do better on the next. Besides, I think you have done a splendid job so far.

Veru nice Markus!! love the wood grain on the mauser! ;)
I've heard of Elisena figures but since i've never seen any pics of them i never really gave them a second look,me thinks i should rethink that!

Thomas

Hey Markus, it looks pretty good to me, Ilike the way you painted the grain on the rifle.

Keep up the good work

Cheers

Roc. :)

Good job on the rifle's woodgrain. As for the shelter, what seems to be wrong with it? Try painting on the "rain" pattern - those funny-looking lines that go across it - and it should look fine.

I tend to agree with Guy as far as stripping a figure. I have done it though. It looks to me like your figure could be benefit from some shading in the shadow areas of the armpit, inside of the arms and crotch.

Hey everybody!
Thank you for your kind words about my figure!! :)
I´m glad you like it!

It was a hard decision for me to post it here between all those beautiful works!

Guy,
i will paint it ready, if i´m satisfied with the result, i will leave it, if not it´s time to strip (for the figure, not me  ).

Jaime,
thank you!

Grizzly,
this is the only Elisena figure i have, and it is a real beauty.
I bought some of the dwarfs (sorry, don´t know the propper english word) for my sister, and they are outstanding too, but those still need some paint.
If you want to see some pics of them, let me know.

Roc,
thank you very much.
The rifle was now big deal, i did it with kind of a washing (using oilpaints over acrylics) that i wiped away in only one direction with a broad, soft brush.
I used Tamiya´s Dark Yellow, mixed with a drop of Nato Brown as a basecoat and burnt umber and black for the "washing".

Pete,
I´m not satisfied with colors or the scheme.
I will redo it :) .

John,
I can´t let this figure stand in my shelf if i´m not satisfied with it.
I will wait how it comes out.
You are right about the shadows, i will add them!
