    Hi All

Albert Steiner has asked me to show another project

"Finished the build on Steve Readdie's special Commission for me on German East Africa 1916.

I did quite a few mods on both figures.
They were a real joy; priming later today.
Then comes the painting and groundwork.
The African is a Corporal, and the German is a Sergeant."

200mm special commission from Steve Readdie, of a German NCO, 1916, in German East Africa.

I replaced the head, with a different one of Steve's, added the moustache, hair, scarf, and tilted the Suedwester back (like a cowboy's).

Added the EK. II ribbon, sculpted new chevrons for Unteroffizier (Sergeant), added a strap to the British water bottle, sculpted a bread bag, converted the WWII German canteen to the WWI pattern, added a Readdie's Luger holster, and detailed the Mauser 98.

The field glasses are from the spares box.

Albert nice work on those extra conversions, they will make for a nice scene when painted up.

Thanks, Steve. You created them. All I did was some conversion and detail work.
