Just thought some of you might like to see the German cavalry flats I have painted so far photographed as a group.

Than you Marc. Hmm good question I don't want to put them in a frame as I've painted both sides. I'm not sure how thet are going to be displayed yet nor do I know how many of this series I'll paint. There's plenty more to go :) So for the time being they'll stand in the cabinet like this.

Good idea to let us see them together as a group. Nice subtle shading and highlighting! I particularly like the one with the cream uniform.

    All the best,

    Roger,
    They look great together!
Maybe you can place them in a box with a window on both sides.

    Cheers,
    Marcel.

Thank you Marcel and thanks for the suggestion. It's a good idea but I will need to wait and see how many I paint..... I might need a large box :D

Hi, Roger! I followed your progress posts over at HZ-Forum, too, and it's neat to see the whole group of figures together.

I think you should get some flat backdrop pieces, like some housefronts, and display them in a sort of street scene, keeping a continuity in the medium of white metal flats.

    Prost!

    Hello Roger,
I like flats too and I love your treatment of this grouping. Very subtle painting.

Hello Brad! Nice to see you on this forum too.

Cheers Brad, nice idea, I might just follow that one up.

Thank you Victor, I'm just working on another one now, an Uhlan officer.
