Happy New Year P'fers. One of my current sculpting projects on the bench of General Sean-Joseph d'Hautpoul of Napoleon's Cuirrassiers who was mortally wounded at the Battle of Eylau in 1807. This is a one off commission sculpt.

Hi Chris

Happy New Year to you

That's a great subject and one very lucky customer when it's finished

Will he be in the cuirass ?

Following with interest

Looking forward to seeing more

Have fun at the bench

Hi Chris

That's a lovely piece of sculpting , facial work and cuirass looks really good

I know it's a one off but definately commercial in my opinion

Thanks for sharing

Thanks Nap, Briggsy and Malcolm, glad you like how he's turned out. I'm hoping the gentleman who commissioned him is happy. It's been delivered I believe and will enquire about seeing pictures when painted.

Fabulous work and and an excellent rendition of the man from the available images.

Thank you very much Redcap. It was a bit of a challenge going by the limited number of references. A little bit of a combination gave it it's own unique character but kept it within what seems to be relevant.
